With a year-round creek, Seven Acre Ranch offers something rare in the Airbnb world—a true escape. Add in thoughtful amenities, and you’ve got the perfect reset.
Soak in the hot tub under the stars. Relax by the firepit, have a fire in the wood burning fireplace, (with firewood for days). Explore private trails, hear the falls, spot wildlife. Smoke dinner on the pellet grill, then settle into a rocker on the porch and take in sweeping views of Truckee Meadows Valley.
This spot along the creek might be my favorite place to land. The sound of the water drowns out everything else—it pulls you out of your head and into right now. It’s one of those places that gently reminds you to just breathe, let go, and come back to yourself. We all need moments like that—simple, quiet, grounding, and full of ease.
Just downstream is another favorite spot—a calm stretch where we built a small check dam. It slows the flow, helps prevent erosion, and creates a quiet sanctuary for wildlife. The sound of water is steady and strong, like a waterfall holding space. Birds, bees, and other creatures pause here—some to rest, others passing through. It’s a reminder that even movement needs stillness. On quiet mornings, you might catch wings fluttering, ripples from a coyote, or squirrels in the brush. It’s a place that asks nothing of you—just to pause, take it in, and breathe.
